Event People was born out of a belief that the events industry deserves a stronger, more sustainable future — powered by the next generation of talent.
When the pandemic hit, we saw experienced professionals forced out of the sector and talented new graduates struggling to find their place. We wanted to change that.
So we created Event People: a staffing agency built on opportunity. We connect event organisers with motivated, well-trained people who are ready to impress — while helping those same people take their first steps towards long and fulfilling careers in events.
Today, we’re proud to be the UK’s fastest-growing event staffing agency. It’s proof that when you invest in people, you build something that lasts.

Evie Ward joined us in October 2022 while studying BA Event Management and Tourism at the University of Hertfordshire. She wanted to gain event experience and build up her CV by working across festivals, sporting events and conferences. Through our training and feedback after every event we supported Evie step into key leadership roles, including Stage Manager at Amnesty International’s Amplify Festival and Team Leader at the Coronation, London Marathon and F1 BGP Silverstone. Through these events our event managers were able to support Evie improve on her communication, time management and leadership skills on-site, helping to build a standout CV across high-profile projects. This experience led to her current role as Event Operations Administrator with Quint, working on F1 Experiences.
Oluwatobi has always wanted to work in the events industry with his goal to work in venue management. He faced a lack of opportunities to gain access into the industry and meet people that could support.
Through our partnership with events agency Trivandi, we were able to provide him a fully funded scholarship to their Major Events 101 Course where he now has a dedicated mentor, will gain specialist knowledge and build up a network of people in the industry that can support him achieve his goal of working in events.
Kyle joined us in 2021 after discovering our agency through the University of Greenwich, one of our partner universities, while completing her BA in Hospitality Management.
She initially wanted to gain some paid event work before discovering that this was the industry she wanted to build a career in. We provided her the necessary training, experience and feedback to build her onsite skills across various events, supporting her personal development. We offered her the opportunity to continue this development with us full time as a staffing coordinator for Event People. After a year in the role she has since secured her next career step in October 2025 as a member of the hospitality team at Claridge’s.
Event People is more than an event staffing agency. We are committed to the legacy of the events industry, and to its future. We are creating a community of people with energy passion and drive to be part of building a stronger, diverse and more vibrant events industry, providing people with opportunities to learn, develop new skills, and build the experience they need to carve out a career in events.
We’ve already partnered with over 30 universities across the UK, working with lecturers, students and graduates to open doors into events. Alongside our industry partners, we provide hands-on experience, training, mentoring and guidance — helping people gain the confidence and know-how to succeed.
Our programme supports every member of our community to develop their skills, track their growth, and add real value to every event they’re part of.
