Job description

Join our team and help create a fun and welcoming experience for students during Welcome Week as they join the Republic LDN community! You’ll support with a variety of tasks throughout the day, including event setup and breakdown, assisting with activities, supporting the photo activation, and engaging with students to encourage participation. As a friendly and approachable face onsite, you’ll help create a positive atmosphere and make students feel comfortable as they explore the event.

This role offers the chance to work as part of a small team in a lively environment where every interaction helps shape the student experience. You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the event while helping students have a positive and memorable experience. This event is not connected in any way to the political movement or investment company by the same name. 


The details
When is it? Wednesday 30 September and  Thursday 1 October
What are the shift times? 10m – 3pm
Where is it? 2 Clove Crescent, London, E14 2BE 
What will I be paid? £14.24 per hour (inc holiday pay), within 2 weeks of the event

Other information

Is there good public transport links? Yes.

Is there bike parking? Yes.

Is there car parking? Yes. 

Are meals provided? Light refreshments will be provided.

Is this role open to anyone? Yes, anyone can apply. It would be ideal if you can work both days, but this is not essential.

Is uniform provided? A T-shirt will be provided. 

Do I need to bring anything with me? No.

Do I need to have specific experience to apply? No.

Is there training that needs to be done beforehand? No, all training will be provided upon arrival.

Is accommodation provided? No.

Is travel reimbursed? No, there is no travel reimbursed for this event.
