After captivating over one million spectators across the world and following its hugely successful UK debut in Manchester, LUMINISCENCE arrives in London, to transform Westminster Cathedral into a fully immersive world of sound and light.
Featuring the music of some of classical music’s greatest composers, including Beethoven, Verdi, Debussy, Vivaldi, Bach and more, performed by the stunning Lux Aeterna choir, with a specially commissioned script by BAFTA and Olivier Award winner Tim Whitnall telling the story of London and one of its most important Cathedrals.
Job description
Across the event, staff will be responsible for guest engagement, queue management and ticketing.
We're looking to recruit a diverse, multi-disciplined team to deliver this event, which operates 4-days a week. Between them, our team will be able to cover every show - working a regular shift pattern where possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for freelancers, new graduates or anyone who wants regular evening work during the week or at weekends.

When is it? From Monday 29 June 2026
What are the shift times? Evening shifts of ~4 hours, with summer shows starting 9pm and winter performances from 6pm
Where is it? Westminster Cathedral, Victoria Street, London, SW1P 1LT
What will I be paid? £14.24 per hour (inc holiday pay), within 2 weeks of the event

Are meals provided? No. We recommend bringing enough water to last your shift and all the refreshments you need.
Is this role open to anyone? Yes, anyone can apply.
Is uniform provided? A t-shirt / jacket will be provided. Staff should wear smart black trousers and shoes.

Is there training that needs to be done beforehand? No, all training will be provided upon arrival.
